This year, Ray Benson — the big-hearted leader of legendary western swing outfit Asleep at the Wheel — turns 75. We sat down with Ray for an extended conversation, and it's a good one. He talks about catching the music bug as a kid, what drew him to Austin in 1974, and why he's still happily logging miles after more than five decades on the road.
