Corrections below. We regret the errors. There’s egg on our face.
Toward the end of our interview with Austin PBS’s Terry Lickona, producer of “Austin City Limits,” on page 9: Phineas should be Finneas.
On page 46, Mélat’s profile is missing our mascot, Ronnie the Roadrunner, to indicate she has an extended interview online.
Ditto that for promqueen, on page 88 .
Claude9’s profile on page 129 does not identify the artist by name; he is Claude McCan.
The photo credit on page 218 for 8.5 Souvenirs is incorrect; it should be Brent Stirton (not Kim Yarborough as listed, though we love Kim and she has other photo credits in the book).
Meet the Team, page 216, David Hall should be David Brendan Hall.
On page 224, our venue directory listing, the address for Concourse Project should be 8509 Burleson Rd, Building 1, Austin, TX 78719.
And a few updates. Since the book was released…
Bub’s ATX food truck (parked forever outside Sagebrush, it seemed) has gone back to New Orleans.
Coupland Dance Hall will remain open.
Mercer Dance Hall will close.
Reno Dudley, KAZI’s station manager, has left.
